Online Store Return and Exchange Policy
You may return or exchange any of the following items purchased from Exotic Birds of Red Bank's online store within fifteen (15) days of the purchase date for refund:
Food, treats, toys, perches and swings sealed in the original manufacturer's packaging
Accessory items sealed in the original manufacturer's packaging
Ceramic and stainless steel bowls
Maintenance and cleaning products with original manufacturer's seal
Books in new condition
Greeting cards in new condition
Gift items such as t-shirts, tote bags, and jewelry
To prevent any potential issues with shortened expiration dates, product tampering or contamination, we do not take returns or exchanges on the following items:
All Bulk Foods (repackaged foods)
Any opened packages of food or treats
All vitamin supplements
All bird harnesses
Any toy, perch or swing not sealed in plastic
We're sorry, but online purchase returns cannot be accepted beyond 15 days of the original shipping date. If we receive a return that is beyond our 15-day term, we will not issue a refund or credit. Instead, we will donate that item on your behalf to a local avian program that helps less fortunate birds.
Damaged Goods
If you receive merchandise that has been damaged in shipping, please call us immediately. We will file a claim with the shipping company who will investigate the damage. We will send a replacement as soon as we obtain claim approval. There will be no additional shipping charges to you for replacing any damaged items. If an item cannot be replaced, we will issue a full refund to your credit card for the damaged item and shipping fees.
If you require immediate replacement, we will charge your credit card for the second shipment and refund your money once the shipping company has made a determination regarding the first shipment.
To return an item purchased online:
Please review our return and exchange policy, then call (732) 530-9979 for further instructions. Do not send any merchandise to Exotic Birds of Red Bank without a return or exchange authorization.
Original shipping fees and return shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return or exchange is the result of our error.
Please pack returns carefully. If a returned item is damaged in transit, we will not issue a refund or credit.
If we receive a return that is not in new condition, or beyond 15 days of the original shipping date, we will not issue a refund or credit. Instead, we will donate that item on your behalf to a local avian program that helps less fortunate birds. |
